The sole’s design is the result of extensive research carried out in our labs. It is composed of a specific rubber formula that optimizes grip and traction. As no two requirements are ever the same, we automatically look for the best compromise for walking on loose off-road terrain (like a forest path) as well as hard, stony trails (like a coastal path).

Designed for use on off-road trails

Our hiking sandals are designed for use on off-road trails. We choose and test the components of our soles to best adapt to the practice of hiking on loose off-road terrain (like an earthy forest path) or hard, stony trails (like a rocky coastal path). Use on the road (asphalt) may lead to premature wear on your soles.We do not recommend using them on mountain footpaths on very hilly terrain.
